  2.      The following is a list of all the SCOUT command keys with a 
  3.      brief summary statement of the function of each.
  4.  
  5.           A  -  Change file attribute.
  6.          ^A  -  Reset archive bits for all files in current 
  7.                 directory.
  8.           B  -  Show catalog - change default directory.
  9.          ^B  -  Batch copy files changed since last backup.
  10.           C  -  Copy file under the cursor bar.
  11.          ^C  -  Enable or disable CRC checking during file copy.
  12.       Alt-C  -  Displays command menu from active directory (SCOUT.CMD)
  13.           D  -  Change drive.
  14.       Alt-D  -  Show unused for each disk drive in system.
  15.          ^D  -  Change system time/date.
  16.           E  -  Erase tagged files.
  17.           F  -  Format a floppy disk.
  18.          ^F  -  Change file time/date.
  19.           G  -  Batch copy tagged files.
  20.          ^G  -  Print saved graphics screen image.
  21.          ^H  -  Command summary window.
  22.           I  -  Create new directory.
  23.           J  -  View/set file mask settings.
  24.           K  -  View/set function key macro settings.
  25.          ^K  -  Disable/enable primary hot key combination.
  26.           L  -  Create new volume label.
  27.          ^L  -  Calendar display.
  28.           M  -  Batch move tagged files.
  29.           N  -  Version window.
  30.           O  -  View/change sort option.
  31.           P  -  Printer control code menu.
  32.          ^P  -  Print listing of current or all directories.
  33.           Q  -  Disk information.
  34.           R  -  Read text file or read ARC file directory.
  35.          ^R  -  Recall last entered path name (when prompted).
  36.          ^R  -  SCOUT registration form print from main menu.
  37.           S  -  Perform scan and update directory catalog.
  38.          ^S  -  Strip and copy file.
  39.           T  -  Retag copied files.
  40.          ^T  -  Initiate auto-tag from present cursor postion.
  41.           U  -  Untag all tagged files.
  42.           V  -  Move individual file.
  43.          ^V  -  Save text screen image to text file.
  44.           W  -  Show system memory allocation.
  45.           X  -  Refresh the main display.
  46.          ^X  -  Display alternate program execution menu.
  47.           Y  -  Search for one or more files.
  48.           Z  -  Display catalog - change directory.
  49.          ^Z  -  Print file.
  50.         Del  -  Delete highlighted file/directory/volume label.
  51.         Ins  -  Rename highlighted file/directory/volume label.
  52.        ^PgUp -  Change to parent directory.
  53.         Home -  Change to root directory.
  54.          End -  Return to default directory.
  55.         PgUp -  Show previous page of files.
  56.         PgDn -  Show next page of files.
  57.            + -  Tag a file.
  58.            - -  Untag a file.
  59.            ] -  Show ASCII table.
  60.            \ -  Display executable program menu.
  61.            / -  Run program with command line parameters.
  62.          TAB -  Move cursor to top or bottom of display column.
  63.    Shift-TAB -  Purge the current directory of all files.
  64.            > -  Move cursor to end of displayed page.
  65.            < -  Move cursor to top of displayed page.

  71.      Pressing F1 - F10 at the main SCOUT display will change
  72.      to the directory to the assigned macro string.
